T.D. Makes a Movie

When T.D. was 12 she was asked to take part in the Inland Seas Program.Image1_1 Each year 5.000 Michigan middle school children have an on-board experience on this beautiful tall ship and learn about marine life and ecology. Now, she’s getting ready to head off in the same direction in college. Between middle school and now she’s become an advanced certified scuba diver, kayaked the Inside Passage and traveled a bunch to the oceans and seas of the world. The Campaign for Inland Seas snagged her this past month to feature in and narrate a film they’re making about their program; she’s what they hope for in terms of outcome. Of course, they don’t have to deal with the head spinning and "auto mishaps we have known"…Img_7834Img_7858

  1. ooh. That’s very cool. Will we get to see the movie?

She has such a lovely smile!

  2. All that talent and beautiful too. Don’t you sometimes feel bad for not spreading the wealth?

    (I didn’t think so.)

  3. That’s great! Congrats to TD!

  4. Hey, my two comments from yesterday vanished! Who is Dave? is that Dave Barry?

Did TD lighten her hair? What a knockout!

  5. With a nod to Robert Frost–T.D. took the road less traveled by, and that is already making a difference! She looks perfectly poised there, Vicki! And, that tall ship–sigh!

  6. What a beautiful and interesting daughter you have. It’s not every day you run across a kid who wants to do the things she’s accomplished. You raised a good one!

  7. How wonderful. Plus she’s soooo pretty.

  8. Awwwwwww, Vicki, I look at her and don’t feel so bad about my girls growing up. You must be so proud.
